Meet the Family | Larry Anthony

Larry Anthony from Los Angeles Westside talks about his nine years as a Right at Home senior care franchise owner. Anthony, who has three territories near UCLA, Beverly Hills, and the San Fernando Valley, decided in 2010 that he wanted to leave the Telecom industry and do something else.

Anthony tells how he took care of his parents for 12 years, when, after settling his stepfather’s estate, he was flying on Southwest Airlines and saw an ad for Right at Home. He contacted them, had a long discussion, then called three other competitors. He just kept coming back to Right at Home for two reasons.

Anthony starts his day at Right at Home with a brief staff meeting, going through the important points, and delegating what he can. Anthony is responsible for bringing in most of the business and cultivating relationships with centers of influence.

Larry describes Right at Home as a people company because he can depend on any of the corporate associates he has met. Also, having access to the tools and resources the corporation provides can help him find just about any answer he needs. The brand recognition and the name do not go unnoticed by prospective customers or clients.

Anthony advises prospective franchisees to be patient. Remember, you need to appreciate and be honest with your employees and clients.
