McKnights Home Care: Right at Home Expects to Surpass Growth Targets

Right at Home, one of the largest leading in-home care franchises, expects to surpass growth targets by year-end as it stretches into new territories.

After awarding its ninth new territory this year, nonmedical home care franchise Right at Home disclosed that it is on pace to outperform its growth expectations for 2024.

“We do have a goal for 24 more new signings here in 2024 and we are on pace to not only hit that but exceed that,” Jennifer Chaney, Right at Home’s vice president of franchise development said, “It’s May — still the first part of the year — but we’re still very diligent about tracking the lead flow and the activity, and so the numbers are showing that we’re on track.”

Right at Home has more than 700 franchise locations across the United States and five countries. Lately, it has been particularly focused on growth in California, Texas, Iowa, and Washington, the company said in a press release. According to Chaney, keeping all of these businesses operating successfully requires the company to maintain a robust support infrastructure.

Technology is a crucial part of achieving this interconnectedness, according to Chaney. New tools like artificial intelligence will affect all parts of doing business, she said. Chaney encouraged providers to innovate, experiment, and discover new ways to leverage the power of technology.

Franchises like Right at Home must keep abreast of new industry regulations. In October, for example, the National Labor Relations Board finalized a new joint-employer standard, which widened franchisors’ liability for labor violations committed by franchisees.
