1851Franchise: Franchisee Spotlight: Lew Dalupang

Right at Home Franchisee Lew Dalupang Expands from New Jersey to New York to Provide Care for More Seniors. With Little more than $200 and a dream, he’s now a successful in-home senior care entrepreneur with a territory spanning two states.

In 2002, Lew Dalupang arrived in the U.S. from the Philippines with just a suitcase and $200. Starting his career as an HR assistant in a senior healthcare company, he quickly rose through the ranks to become the director of operations, managing multiple nursing homes and care facilities.

After 18 years in the industry, his passion for elder care led him to purchase a Right at Home franchise in December 2019 in Bergen County, New Jersey. Now, Dalupang is expanding his territory into West New York with the hopes of bringing more quality care to seniors in the area.

“I have always had a passion for taking care of seniors, and I know the science behind it,” Dalupang said. “There’s a system for taking care of the elderly, so I knew it wouldn’t be a hard transition for me. That’s why I picked this industry.”
