1851Franchise: Right at Home Grows Through Franchisee Satisfaction and Support

Jen Chaney, Vice President of Franchise Development at Right at Home, explains how validation from happy franchisees, digital tools, and strategic support are driving franchise expansion.

For Right at Home, franchisee satisfaction isn’t just a goal — it’s a core part of its development strategy. Vice President of Franchise Development Jen Chaney says that happy, successful franchisees are not only more likely to expand but also play a key role in attracting new owners through peer validation.

“The biggest way our potential franchisees get a taste of our brand identity is through franchisee validation,” said Chaney in an interview with Franchising.com. “We engage current franchise owners in the recruitment process where prospects looking to join the system connect with current owners to discuss their experiences.”

Chaney works closely with the brand’s marketing team to ensure franchise development and marketing strategies are aligned. Through storytelling, digital campaigns, and lead tracking, the team is able to target ideal candidates and adjust efforts based on performance data.

When expanding into new territories, the focus is on demographics — particularly the senior population — and finding candidates with a strong community connection and personal motivation to join a senior care brand.

With the aging baby boomer population, Chaney sees enormous growth ahead. “By 2030, all baby boomers will be 65 or older. This shift presents a massive opportunity for home care.”

Her advice to emerging brands? Focus on franchisee support, use real success stories in marketing, and make onboarding easy.

“Their positive experiences and strong relationships with the franchisor foster a sense of loyalty and motivation,” she said. “It drives them to contribute more actively to the brand’s success and have awesome conversations with potential franchisees during franchisee validation.”
